Schengen Countries
The Schengen Area is a zone in Europe where 29 countries have abolished their internal borders to allow for passport-free and unrestricted movement of people. This agreement enhances the ease of travel and commerce between member countries, but it also requires a unified visa policy for short stays (up to 90 days within 180 days) for tourists, business people, and some types of temporary visitors.
